Payments & Contracts- Must Read
|
| |
Payment: We do NOT do payment plans. Full payment must be received before primate/primates will be released to customer. We accept most payments by wire transfer. This is the safest and fastest way to send money. No checks. Money orders and bank checks are held for 10-15 days.
We do not accept payment by western union due to the scams currently going on in Africa. Noone is permited to sell a primate outside the United States to anyone located within the US. This is illegal, so beware of scammers.
We are USDA licensed, 72-B-0124, and you are welcome to contact the USDA dept to verify our business. NO, we do not have free monkeys. It is not free to feed them, take them to the vet, or to build their cages. So NO, they are not cheap, and are not free. We will have your primate checked by a licensed vet before leaving facility. Customers have 24 hours to bring primate in to their vet for a second opinion if received during the week. If you receive your monkey on the weekend, you have until the next business day to take the primate in for a second opinion. If your vet finds any issues that are genetic, have them contact us immediately.
If you are picking up and will be traveling, Wild Animal World will arrange a seperate deadline for you to have your primate examined. Also, once contract is signed and sent to Wild Animal World, regardless if any payment has been made, you are responsible to complete your purchase. If buyer cancels before making payment, buyer will be billed the $1000.00 non-refundable deposit. The purpose of a contract is to reserve a particular primate or other animal for the customer. Each customer will receive a contract to sign and date, and the contract will be filled out by Wild Animal World if any information differs from our basic contract published online. If for some reason, your purchased is done rapidly and you choose not to have a contract, all our terms still stand, and will be agreed upon verbally as well as stated on this website. IF PRIMATE SHOULD PASS, YOU MUST GET A FULL NECROPSY DONE AND SEND RESULTS TO US TO VIEW.

Our Goal: We do this business for the love of the animals. Yes, it is very contriversal, but everyone is intitled to their opinions. We do not sell what is available, we sell what we feel best suits your family. Our goal is to provide all animals with a family for their lifetime. We would love to see all exotic animals roam freely in the wild, but realistically, this isnt possible. We sell to individuals, breeders, exibitors, educators, and zoos.
Some animals will not be sold to anyone unless they are USDA licensed. Primates can be great pets. They are very intelligent animals but they are not for everyone. Primates dominate children. They are not an animal to purchase for young children. If your child is wanting a pet, buy them a cat or dog, even a rabbit. If you are set on getting your child a monkey, please consider marmosets or tamarins. The larger and more intelligent primates require discipline, training, also lots of attention and love. They are too much responsibility for a child. They are similiar to a child, but one that never grows up and goes to college! They are very time consuming, and not recommended for those whom work long hours. They need human interaction daily. We do our best to assist our customers during the life of the monkey. We can only give advice and our opinion, if you dont take our advice, that is your choice. We do what we do because we actually have enough common sense to realize that these animals' surplus must go somewheres. And we feel although we did not personally bring them into the US from the wild, breeders can not keep breeding these primates and afford to keep all the surplus. And what does that mean? If there is no more breeding, there are no more monkeys. Pretty easy to understand, right? Ever heard of the words "endangered" or extinct"? Our job is to do the best in finding these animals the best homes possible. We do not sell to just anyone, and have the right to refuse any sale. We do work with sanctuaries, but are not a sanctuary.
We do not sell certain animals to individuals, that is our choice, as well as our responsibility to these primates and other animals. If you disagree, you are intitled to your opionion, but honestly, keep it to yourself if you can not be civil.
